Intelliport provides a simple and straight forward administration application used to define your databases so you can be up and running in just a few moments.

A COM interface conforming to industry standards is provided by Intelliport so that most Windows development environments may be used.

Intelliport provides full support for many development environment features including object browsing, quick info tips including lists of available choices and auto-complete.

Flexibility
Intelliport will connect your applications to a wide variety of databases e.g. AS/400 DB2, Oracle, Access etc. Intelliport gives you the freedom to port applications to run over different hardware platforms with little or no change to the application code and the freedom to choose your preferred Windows development environment.

Security
All Intelliport connections to databases are subject to any current or future security measures you implement. If your database requires a user id and password, your application must obtain and provide one to Intelliport when connecting to a database.

Database managers or user profiles (AS/400) are used to authenticate users ensuring that all privileges and restrictions for the user are honoured.
