iTime is a state of the art time and attendance system that utilises
the latest fingerprint biometric technology to identify,
track and manage employee, contractor and visitor presence in your

Biometric (Fingerprint) Recognition
Biometrics is the automated recognition of people based
on their biological characteristics. Physical characteristics
such as fingerprints are unique to each individual, ones
biometric trait cannot be lost, stolen, or recreated.
Biometrics are seen as the benchmark of future proofing
identity theft. The software captures a digital representation
of a number of key unique points of an individual fingerprint,
no useable scan, image or picture is kept by iTime
Full Biometric Attendance Monitoring
The capturing of a fingerprint and basic details is accomplished in
a matter of seconds.
Once a person is known to iTime, each time they place
their index finger upon the reader they will be clocked
in or out dependant upon their current status i.e. if
status = out then they will be clocked in etc. An employee
will typically arrive in the morning place their index
finger on the reader and they will be welcomed with a
message to say that they have clocked in. At this point
iTime will record against the employee the fact that they
have arrived and at what time, accurate to the minute.
Other information held against an employee is the department
or company that they are working for. This replaces the
need for costly and time consuming manual clocking in
cards and will prevent such acts as ‘buddy punching’

Information held against an employee is the department or company that they are
working for. Much more information can be held against an employee, such information
as address and contact details, emergency contact information, and even payroll information.
Visitor/Contractor Arrival and Departure Log
Another feature is the ability to log visitor/contractor details within iTime. This removes the need to
maintain a separate visitor signing in book. Visitors are held in the same way as employees and
appear as on site and importantly appear on the appropriate building evacuation register. Regular visitors
to the site can effectively sign into the building at the touch of their fingerprint. A contractor
can sign in daily for a period of time without any need to constantly fill in visitor logs and also the times
on and off site are accurately kept within the system. A person's name, company and even car registration can be held within iTime.
Visitor/Contractor Identity Badges
A nice feature of iTime is the ability to print out visitor badges. Upon arrival a new visitor can have their details
recorded and a badge produced. Known and regular visitors can have their badge printed automatically upon scanning
their fingerprint into iTime.
Real Time Who's in or Who's out log
Because iTime is a real time system, it is easy at any moment to ascertain who is in the building, what time a
person arrived, and what time they may have left. This information can be viewed live on screen at any time.
Full Evacuation Control
Because of the real time nature of iTime, the control of building evacuation is a simple process. All employees
and visitors are assigned to an evacuation list upon registration. iTime can hold multiple Evacuation points. Relevant
employees are registered as fire/evacuation marshals and at the point of an alarm accurate lists are produced relevant to
each marshal. There is no longer a need to keep sign in sheets or visitor books in reception areas.
Hours and Days Worked reporting
As iTime holds employee information and has a full historical
log of employee's dates and times into and out of the
business, it has all the mechanisms in place to function
as a full time and attendance system. Weekly and /or
monthly Timesheets can be produced for non-salaried
employees. Also, contractual workers time on site can
be checked and reported upon.
Portable, Stand alone or Network Integrated
iTime is a flexible system. It can sit alone on a PC and function as a self contained time and attendance system,
or it can be linked to other iTime PC's around the local network or WAN. The ease of installation means that the system
is fully portable, it can be set up for a period of time at one location, then moved to another location with ease.
There are also routines available within iTime which enable data to be exported to applications such as Sage Payroll or Excel
Technical Specification
iTime is easy to install and only requires a base PC in order to operate.
It is small in resource requirement and will not affect PC performance in any way.
All that is required to be up and running is the software installing and a fingerprint
reader (supplied) attaching to the PC. The reader is small, about the size of a mobile phone
and can sit easily on a counter or desktop.
