System 21 Interfaces with BOXTOP

A4T, the high-tech media and gadgets company, has successfully outsourced its massive logistics operation, coving warehousing, despatch and delivery to the third party MAPCARGO logistics company.
MAPCARGO use the highly acclaimed BOXTOP Warehousing, Transport Planning and Delivery software package to control their logistics services.
The interfaces required for despatch, delivery and proof of receipt between A4T's System 21 ERP application and MAPCARGO's BOXTOP software was developed by Total e-Solutions. This interface controls all of the System 21 database updates necessary to interface the two systems and has allowed A4T to discontinue usage of the System 21 Warehousing module.

Delivere is an integrated DHL despatching system which interfaces with the DHL TransIT, Easyship and Intraship despatching systems. Total-e-solutions have worked alongside DHL to create a solution which offers customers flexibility with despatching and a cross references back to a main ERP system. Numerous features are included notably an ability to batch process despatches and the ability to define sorting and grouping of areas, customers and mailing lists etc.

Total e-Solutions Consulting wins yet another contract to implement its Automated Supplier Account Payments (ASAP) System for a leading international manufacturer of vacuum cast super-alloys, based on the Isle of Wight. ASAP provides an alternative solution to the need for a BACS IP enabled system, and will extract and validate all released supplier payments from JBA System 21. ASAP will also provide the ability to package all domestic and international payment information into the format required by the RoyLine e-Banking system (supplied by the Royal Bank of Scotland for electronic funds transfer), prior to batch upload of payments into RoyLine. ASAP is a unique software package that offers a practical, low-cost alternative to processing payments of any kind via BACS and BACS IP. The system provides an alternative interface between an organisation’s host financial accounting system (operating via any PC financial package such as SAGE, SAGE LINE 50 etc. or any AS/400 ERP systems such as JBA System 21, JDE etc.) and the facilities provided by the bank for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The system integrates seamlessly with the organisation’s incumbent ERP system to create and record the new standard of labels that are to be shipped via DHL/Securicor Omega Express. The system will utilise a range of programming languages to produce unique, traceable labels automatically for a range of despatched lines and communicate both daily and monthly manifest information over TCP/IP via DHL/Securicor’s FTP Server. The system is anticipated to substantially reduce the time and effort involved in the creation and administering of labels.

Total e-Solutions Launches CommsManager Product

Total e-Solutions Consulting launches CommsManager, enabling the creation and maintenance of high-quality financial documents (such as invoices, purchase orders etc.) and interfacing seamlessly with JBA System 21. The product allows users to define, by trading partner, the preferred method of communication (e.g. email, fax or letter) with default recipient addresses and numbers. Once a purchase order or invoice is ready to be printed the system downloads details to a PC based system, where the relevant documents are created and re-formatted, before being subsequently printed, emailed or faxed to the intended recipient.
